Establishing Freedom For Farmers in North Carolina

Helping family farms in North Carolina regain and preserve their right to sell their products in the form they wish.

FREEDOM GROWS HERE

FREEDOM GROWS HERE

Our Mission

Freedom for Farmers is a group of hardworking citizens committed to helping family farms in North Carolina fully regain and preserve their God-given right to provide their products in the form they wish, processed or unprocessed, to their consumers unencumbered by regulations that would make doing so cost-prohibitive.

Who We Are

In May of 2025, a passionate group of North Carolinians came together with a shared concern—the 2025 Farm Act. It included troubling provisions that threatened the rights and livelihoods of farmers across our state. What began as a moment of frustration quickly turned into a movement of hope and determination.

From that movement, Freedom for Farmers was born.

We’re a growing community of farmers, consumers, and advocates who believe in protecting the backbone of our state—our farms. Whether large or small, we want to see every farm in North Carolina not only survive but truly thrive. Together, we’re standing strong to safeguard agricultural freedom and ensure that the next generation inherits a future worth cultivating.

What We Do

MONITOR LEGISLATION

FFF monitors proposed legislation, especially in December/January, looking for bills that will enhance or limit food freedom in some way.

SEEK BILL SPONSORS

FFF seeks out sponsors for bills that would increase the range of locally sourced unprocessed food products available in NC.

ORGANIZE SUPPORT

FFF organizes statewide citizen support or opposition as needs arise. We also coalesce with like-minded organizations.

CITIZENS LOBBY DAY

FFF organizes Legislative Days when food freedom supporters visit the offices of our legislators and other impactful parties.

OUTREACH EVENTS

FFF organizes outreach events that educate citizens on food freedom issues and raise awareness of FFF.

SOCIAL MEDIA PRESENCE

In today’s media climate, there is no force majeure quite like social media. Through these outlets, we inform, equip, and even provoke.
